ABOUT MIDTOWN

Midtown is one of Atlanta’s premier office districts, and boasts a robust live/work/play environment.

Brad Kirschner, Senior Managing Director
Brad Kirschner is a Senior Managing Director with Newmark. He specializes in structuring complex real estate transactions for Owners and Tenants. He provides clients with a consultative approach to developing strategic plans and financial models that enable them to make fiscally and operationally responsible decisions. Since 2016, Mr. Kirschner and his business partner RJ Zurak have completed over 856 unique transactions for a total consideration of over $865 Million.

Prior to joining the firm, Brad worked with Savills Studley and CBRE in Atlanta, Georgia. Also, he is an active member of the Georgia Young Alumni Association, Association of Young Real Estate Professionals, Jewish Education and Loan Foundation, Jewish Federation of Atlanta, and is a volunteer youth baseball coach at Buckhead Baseball.
Stewart Thrash, Senior Managing Director
Stewart Thrash joined Newmark in 2023 and currently serves as a Senior Managing Director in the company’s Atlanta, Georgia office. A 10-year commercial real estate veteran, Stewart has substantial expertise in Agency and Tenant representation in office, industrial and life science sectors. He has conducted over 275 transactions for more than 2.75 million square feet representing a total lease consideration of $365 million.

Stewart came to Newmark after serving as a Vice President for five years at CBRE Atlanta where he was a partner of the CBRE’s Landlord Representation Group. Stewart was responsible for leasing institutionally owned real estate in every submarket of Atlanta for a portfolio of over 6 million square feet. Prior to joining CBRE, he spent 4 years with Bridge Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta where he was responsible for leasing their Atlanta office portfolio of over 3 million square feet.
RJ Zurak, Senior Managing Director
RJ Zurak joins Newmark Atlanta, as a Senior Managing Director, after 7 years at CBRE. With a focus on both Landlord and Tenant Representation, RJ and his Business Partner, Brad Kirschner have completed over 856 unique Transactions totaling more than $850 Million in consideration. RJ and his team have been one of the most active groups in Atlanta with a focus on Office, Industrial, and Land Transactions. RJ was named the 2018 CBRE Young Professional of the Year.

Prior to joining the Commercial Real Estate Industry, Mr. Zurak, who received a B.B.A. from Mississippi State University, held central roles at TaylorMade-Adidas Golf Company, including serving as its Metro New York Sales Manager for 6 years. As the company’s 2014 National Sales Representative of the Year, the youngest in its history, Mr. Zurak’s illustrious sales background has been built handling a substantial volume of transactions that rank on the higher end of the value spectrum.
