ABOUT HACKNEY

Hackney is a vibrant and fast-growing borough that has risen in prominence over the past decade. Its strategic location close to central London but with fast access to major trunk roads makes it an appealing warehouse destination, especially for last-mile logistics and dark kitchen operators looking to service central London. Charlie joined DTRE in October 2018 after three years in retail property with Nash Bond. Prior to that he earned an MSc in Real Estate at Reading University. As a member of the Industrial Leasing team, he is involved with deals in London and the South-East. He works for the most part with landlord and developer clients supporting other team members. Originally from Gloucestershire, Charlie travels extensively and also enjoys skiing, rowing and golf.
Max Dowley, Trainee Surveyor
Max covers the South West and South East of England, primarily advising on the disposal of existing buildings and providing advice on new development schemes.
Hugh Stanton, Graduate Surveyor
Having completed the MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading, Hugh joined DTRE as a Graduate Surveyor in July 2024, working alongside the Industrial & Logistics Leasing teams within the South East and inner M25 regions. Hugh is working towards his APC professional qualifications to become a Chartered Surveyor.
Mickey Strang, Development Surveyor
Mickey joined Bloom in September 2021 and currently works as a development surveyor, assisting in the development & asset management of the existing portfolio assets as well as new acquisitions. Mickey is a Chartered Surveyor having completed his APC qualification in 2023. Mickey also has a MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading.

Sam graduated from University of Westminster with a Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Real Estate Bsc.
Peter Higgins, Divisional Partner
Peter joined Glenny in 2002 with 10 years' experience in the property industry, including roles with Edwin Hill, where he focused on the Northern M25 area, and Cushman & Wakefield’s National Auction Team.

Originally based in Glenny’s North London & Hertfordshire office, Peter represents a range of clients including LaSalle Investment Management, SEGRO, Valad, CBRE Global Investors, and Tesco, in regard to industrial and office disposals, acquisitions and development advice.

Following 9 years in the north London and Hertfordshire market, Peter moved across to head up the East London Business Space team in 2011.
