DESCRIPTION
Netherburn is a small village in South Lanarkshire, situated approximately 4 miles south east of Larkhall, the nearest town. It is also lies approximately 4 miles to the east of Junction 8 of the M74 and therefore is readily accessible to the main road network for west central Scotland and beyond. The village benefits from a primary school, neighbourhood convenience store and there is a bus service to both Larkhall and Hamilton. Travelling from Hamilton - Travel south on M74, exiting at Junction 8 (Canderside Toll) and turn right onto Ayr Road (A71). Continue to the traffic lights and turn right onto Ashgillhead Road and travel through the village of Ashgill via Netherburn Road and Station Road into Netherburn. Continue along Station Road onto Provost Crescent and turn left at its junction with Draffan Road, where the site can be found on the right hand side of the road, approximately 30 metres distant from the junction.
