Site A extends to 4.75 acres (1.92 hectares) and Site
B to 1.26 acres (0.51 hectares). The sites occupy a
prominent position, with frontage onto the B7038 /
Glasgow Road.
Site A is bound to the north and west by
residential uses whilst the east of the site is
bound by the B7038 / Glasgow Road. Site B is
immediately to the south and is bound by a
Tesco Superstore and a terrace of commercial
convenience operators to the west and south
and by the B7038 / Glasgow Road to the east.
A number of national developers have delivered
significant successful schemes in Kilmarnock in recent
years. Barratt Homes are currently constructing homes
on land to the north west at Lairds Brae as well as the
former Kilmarnock College site (‘Scholar’s Gate’). Bellway
Homes are currently on site constructing their latest
phase of housing at Fardalehill to the west of the town.
