Thought to have been built around 1780 to 1790, Marshall Meadows is an attractive detached country house property with a lovely pillared portico entrance. Constructed principally in stone under pitched slate covered roofs, the property was extended in the mid 1980’s to include a large function room, additional letting bedrooms and a delightful conservatory overlooking the gardens. At first floor level the music room provides a handsome private dining or meeting facility with sea views for up to around 25. Through from reception towards the rear of the property there is internal access to the Border Function Suite which also has its own external entrance and toilet facilities. The suite comprises a large purpose–built function room with dancefloor and bar counter and an adjoining conservatory which provides an excellent multi-purpose facility, again with bar servery. The function room caters for up to about 120 diners and the conservatory about 32, dining. Both the function room and conservatory have double doors leading out to the terrace and gardens. 19 letting bedrooms to sleep 38 (all double or twin). All have en suite facilities, 18 with bathroom/wc with shower over the bath and 1 with shower room/wc. All bedrooms have central heating, television, tea and coffee making facilities and WiFi. A new apartment has been created recently. Accommodation comprises a double bedroom and separate kitchenette and shower room/wc. Marshall Meadows has superb private accommodation for owners or managers in the form of a large coach house attached to the main building which provides a ground floor flat and a first floor flat, each with their own separate external entrance. The ground floor flat comprises lobby, fitted kitchen, dining room, lounge, double bedroom, dressing room, bathroom/wc and access to an external patio area. The first floor flat comprises large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom/wc, store room, spacious lounge with sea view, galley kitchen facility, second double bedroom, bathroom/wc and access to a roof decking seating area. The coach house can also be used as one large family home, there being internal access between the ground and first floor flats.
