Evan Behr leads JLL’s DC Agency Leasing team, who focus their attention on representing DC’s office building owners. Evan joined JLL in March 2012 and leads DC’s #1 agency leasing team with a portfolio currently totaling approximately 19 million square feet of office buildings in various product types and locations. Evan’s diverse background in asset management, acquisitions, agency leasing and tenant representation provides a unique perspective to office building owners.

Prior to joining JLL, Evan was a key member of Tishman Speyer’s Washington, DC office where he was responsible for leasing a portfolio of approximately 4.5 million square feet. Evan also gained in-depth asset management experience on Tishman Speyer’s 28 building, 6 million square foot office portfolio in DC, Virginia and Maryland, as well as underwriting experience in the acquisitions department. Prior to Tishman Speyer, he focused on tenant representation at CBRE.

Evan graduated cum laude with a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he double majored in finance and management. He is a former founding member of Executive Committee Board Member of DCBIA DLD. He is former member of JLL’s Leadership Committee Advisory Board and Leading Leaders Program. He is a fundraiser for the Lilabean Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Travis Manion Foundation.

Jeanette Ko, Managing Director
Jeanette Ko joined JLL’s DC agency leasing team in 2021 with a focus on Landlord representation in the Washington, D.C. office market. Jeanette is currently involved in the marketing and leasing of approximately 19 million square feet of office space on behalf of third-party owners. Jeanette specializes in marketing and leasing to provide the highest level of service to clients who own and operate commercial buildings throughout the Washington D.C and Northern Virginia real estate market. Through her highly organized, results-driven approach, Jeanette has established a record of consistent and efficient marketing and leasing success.

Jeanette began her real estate career as a Brokerage Associate at Transwestern in 2011. Prior to joining JLL, Jeanette was a Director at Cushman & Wakefield’s Tysons Corner office.

Julia Scott, Vice President, Brokerage
Julia Scott is a Vice President with JLL’s Agency Leasing team in Washington, DC. Since 2016, she oversees over 4 million square foot office portfolio in various product types, from boutique to Class A office buildings in Downtown DC. Focusing on landlord representation, she guides her clients in portfolio management and advising on how to best position their assets in todays market.

Prior to joining JLL’s Agency Leasing team, she worked on JLL’s tenant representation Law Firm Practice Group Since 2013.
Mackey Merrill, Senior Associate
Mackey Merrill joins JLL as a Senior Associate on the Agency Leasing team, focusing his attention on representing Washington, DC's office building owners. Mackey is a member of the #1 agency leasing team with a portfolio currently totaling approximately 19 million square feet of office buildings in various product types and locations. Prior to JLL, Mackey worked with FD Stonewater as an Investment Associate, acquiring and asset managing real estate across the country. In this role, Mackey worked directly with investment platform partners and team members to underwrite and execute potential acquisitions, support property due diligence, conduct market research, evaluate joint venture structures, and participate in business plan execution for existing portfolio assets. Prior to joining the firm, Mackey was a Capital Markets Associate at Newmark, where he oversaw the financial analysis and due diligence of over $3 billion of investment sales activity. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned a B.S. in both Management and Marketing and was a four-year letterman on the varsity lacrosse team. Mackey resides in Washington, DC, and enjoys skiing, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors with his dog, Marvin.
