Situated between the La Wantzenau road and the northern edge of Hoenheim's municipal territory, the activity zone spans 8.7 hectares. Its development was entrusted to SERS in 1989. Nearly sixty businesses, including Super U, Burger King, McDonald's, Lidl, Café Marie Blachère, Bouygues Télécom, Créal, as well as numerous restaurants, a daycare center, and a beauty institute, have established themselves in this activity zone. Pedestrian and cyclist pathways from the tram station, along with maps and signage for businesses, make access to this area convenient. However, the most important goal for all business leaders in the sector was to step out of anonymity. After consultations between the municipality and businesses, the following name was chosen: "Hoenheim Gare Activity Zone." With the launch of the Tram/Train multimodal hub, which attracts a significant number of users, the Hoenheim Gare station has now become well-known.
