The areas around Inverasdale and the wider Poolewe Peninsula contain a fascinating and diverse geological heritage and landscape, accessible to both serious students and also the general public alike. Just a short drive to Cove at the tip of the peninsula, stands evidence of the second world war activities - lookout points, gun implacements and concrete installations.
